Picking up a new car today which has got me thinking about it!
My previous cars were called Barney and then PJ. My less fun cars I didn't give a name to!

My first car was a fiat bravo called Juliet (Bravo)
We've had Shakira the Zaphira and current cars are Tina (the tiny Toyota) and Kevin (Kadjar)

I used to have a corsa back in the day that was called Todger (like Rodger with a T) because of the number plate.
The car we have now doesn't have a name though. My husbands old car was called Bella.

Our car is Bob, old Bob has served us for 18 years and is on his way out. Dh is currently looking at a potential Bob II. We will miss Bob but he is very tired and needs to go to the great carpark in the sky. I think Bob should have been retired sooner but dh is sentimental.

I bought my first car with inheritance money from my Nanna so it was named Marjorie in her honour. The next car was a Mini and name Francis after my other Grandma who was also a very small woman.

Ours are generally taken from the last three letters in the license plate. We had Silver Fox, Winnie and our current car is Moy.

My now 8 year old started calling him that when she was a baby.

Now we all refer to the rusty old shit heap as Brum-Brum.

I know a few people with Tesla’s. They are never referred to as the car, or by a name, always The Tesla.

Last letter of the registration is first letter of the name. Male or female doesn't matter as long as it suits.
