It can be applied to a forest that is too densely packed to easily pass though, and also to a text that is too complex and difficult to be easily understood.

Impenetrable?

Poonicorn · 28/01/2023 22:01

Dense? Opaque?

TheOtherBennetSister · 28/01/2023 22:01

Yeeees - maybe impenetrable. That would definitely work. Thank you.

I think there's another word though. I might be wrong.

Inscrutable could apply to the book (but not the forest).

TheOtherBennetSister · 28/01/2023 22:49

Thank you Pleiades - that's useful.

A thesaurus is what you need

I bought one but the pages are blank

I'm lost for words

Sorry... 🚕

midlifecrash · 28/01/2023 23:08

Thicket?

dudsville · 28/01/2023 23:10

I think it's a mistake not going with "dense".

VeniVidiWeeWee · 28/01/2023 23:37
