Laser tag/quest

Over the years I have taken my kids to so many laser tag parties but they were always kids only so I've never tried it. Is it fun? And would it be really weird to have my own laser tag party for my 50th? 😂

I can't believe you didn't join in! Yes it's lots of fun, but it is more tiring and sweaty than you might expect, it requires a moderate level of fitness.

We weren't allowed to! Sounds fun but perhaps I should start training!

We all went last weekend for a sunday family afternoon out and whole family played. It is such good fun! I start very casual and then get v competitive hiding round corners. Was very proud of my third place on sunday :-)

Im always suprised there arent more parents playing tbh ( and if there are adults they tend to be dads). The most daunting bit is when youre in the briefing beforehnad with 2000 annoying children, but its usual for there not to be a least a couple of other grown ups. I think our place does some adult only evening sessions if that would feel more appropriate?

Fifty year olds do vary widely in their level of fitness and tolerance of navigating in the dark: if you and your friend group can run for a bus and can crouch down easily to hide behind, say, a kitchen island, and you are happy with dimly-lit spaces and flashing lights then you'd be fine. Most fifty year olds would be perfectly OK, but some wouldn't.

Maybe we should go as a family first to try it out. I actually didn't realise you could as all the parties I have been to they booked it out for 30 kids.

Oh I love lazer tagfun! I take my kids often so I've got an excuse to play. My mum even joined in last time and said she had never had so much fun! Its surprising how ridiculously exhausting it is though, but super fun so you don't notice until the games over and you realise you're dripping with sweat!

We've done this a few times as a family within a big group of mainly teenagers. I take great delight in thrashing them, I am normally in the top three. I spawn camp, you stay in one place and just shoot everyone, very satisfying.
