Had an email saying my vouchers are due to expire. I’ve never really done anything with them before.
but don’t want to waste free money!

logged on, and I have vouchers and points… what’s the difference and which are the ones you get triple value (if convert to restaurant vouchers or something??!
Thanks for any help!!!

The £33 vouchers are what you can convert into restaurant vouchers. If you click the blue link below the £33, it will take you to some options.

When you've decided, you can 'pay for' your restaurant voucher using the £33. It shows you as you click the + button, how much it converts to (when in the restaurant of your choice).

You collect points and every three months or so they are turned into vouchers, which have two years expiry.

The vouchers can be used for 3× their value using reward partners. Just scroll through and choose what you want to use them for. They will send the voucher code through email within 24 hours (ones I have used usually takes about 15 minutes).

I just use the vouchers against my shopping.

Points are what you have earned that haven’t yet been turned into vouchers. You have £33 worth of vouchers which you can spend in Tesco’s or you can turn them into another type of voucher and they could be up to£90 of vouchers. I bought tickets to the Eden project with mine.

MsMartini · 28/01/2023 08:39

I use mine for Picturehouse vouchers - for 10 you get 30 quid.

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 28/01/2023 08:41

If you download the Tesco groceries app and log into your account you can turn the £10 into vouchers now so you'll have £43 worth of vouchers to either spend in store/online or use them with the Reward Partners like restaurants and theme parks.

blahblah33 · 28/01/2023 08:45

Vouchers are points that have already converted every 3 months - you can use vouchers to use against shopping for like for like value or choose an attraction/restaurant to get a code for and triple the value.

Points haven't yet converted to vouchers so you cannot use these to make purchases unless you convert them into vouchers first. If you don't convert them, they'll automatically convert when they reach the 3 month deadline.

BeyondMyWits · 28/01/2023 08:51

Every 4 months or so they transfer points collected in that period to vouchers.

Those vouchers are individually dated, and can be used any time in the following 2 years.

We use ours for a family Railcard, or Longleat vouchers. You get 3x the face value for some "rewards" when you follow instructions and trade them in.

In the past when we were more avid collectors we'd have a weekend in London... marriott hotel, Bella italia, Tower of London etc.

We also sometimes use some at Xmas to get money off our "big" shop. But that is just face value.

MrsJBaptiste · 28/01/2023 09:07

£33 is £99 if you use them for eating out at the Tesco specified restaurants. We only ever use ours for Pizza Express, Prezzo, etc. as you get such a good deal - we'd never eat there if we had to pay full price!

Daydre4mer · 28/01/2023 09:16

You’re all great thanks so much :)

You have £33 worth of 'free money' which you can exchange for 3x value with some provider's (we usually get English heritage membership with ours).

You also have £10 worth of points, so at the end of this period, you will get a new voucher for £10, or more if you collect more points before then. You will also be able to get 3x value for that, but that will need to go towards a a future purchase as your older voucher will expire before you get the next one.

Newtrix · 28/01/2023 10:24

We save up ours and use them hotels.com vouchers and have a breaks away.

Daydre4mer · 29/01/2023 19:03

Will have a look through the options to use the vouchers elsewhere- thanks!

I've used mine for railcards, airport parking, denby stuff, goldsmiths and delivery saver. Seems a waste to just use them for shopping
