One day in Paris

Can someone please help me plan one day in Paris. Doing louvre and eiffel tower lit up a separate evening. Want to do, if possible
Arc de triomphe
Galleries lafayette
Montparnasse
Jardin de luxembourg or tulese
And walk from trocadero to see eiffel tower.

I cant figure out where everything is and if possible to do in a day. Wont be going up eiffel tower

Good choice to not go up the Eiffel Tower. Too expensive and crowded. Go up the Tour Montparnasse instead. Much cheaper and you get a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Doubly works if you're planning on going to Montparnasse. What are you planning on doing there anyway?

Your best bet might be one of those hop on hop off tour buses as they will cover pretty much everything you have on your list, and they'll save your feet from the pavement pounding. How much time in that day will you have in Paris?
