Cycling holiday in Cyprus?

Does anyone know if there are any non-mountainous cycle routes/areas in Cyprus. Fancy a week there with a few days biking but can't do tour de France stuff.

Cyprus is pretty flat apart from the mountains. Not sure about specific cycle routes but I know a few people who ride there and have no problems.l

Not Cyprus but saw loads of cyclists in Lanzarote, there's very little traffic and nice sweeping curves etc

Depends where you are - some of the costal bits can have steep hills and it’s very very hot in summer to be out on your bike.

towards Larnaca and Agia Napa it’s more flat, around the costal routes near Limassol and Pafos it can be a bit hilly.

I think "Cyprus is pretty hilly apart from the flat bits" would be a more accurate assessment.

I cycled across Cyprus last year. We went across the middle which yes - is mountainous. But it was very quiet and beautiful with hardly any traffic (I went in May). In contrast the coast is very busy and there are no quiet routes.

Nothing was mega steep though and if you don't do huge days it's perfectly manageable. I can DM you the route I did if you like.

I live in Cyprus... It can be hilly in places and flat in others! It's quite popular with cyclists though. I wouldn't say all of the island is like the tour de france. The Troodos areas and mountainous areas can be winding and steep but you don't have to go up in the mountains. If i didnt have a baby I'd cycle but i hike instead as there are tonnes of lovely walking routes. Here's a link to some cycle routes - Have a look at the elevation profiles and see what you think www.komoot.com/guide/1875/road-cycling-routes-in-cyprus

I've lived there for around 20 years. The coastal bits are busier, though I'd say the B6, once you get beyond Episkopi encampment, is pretty quiet right up to Pafos (plus you get to go past Aphrodite's rock). A few years ago a couple of the pro teams could be seen on this (and other) roads so I guess it isn't too bad.
