I was exactly the same, basically I always wanted a dog but it just didn’t fit with our lifestyle so I thought there was no point having a pet but I really started to feel
like I wanted a furry friend as the children got a bit older. We got a house cat and I realise now I could have had one years ago. Far less hassle than a puppy, arrived litter trained, affectionate and fun. We absolutely love him. Think I might actually be a cat person….

My 17.5 year old cat died before Christmas, she was from cats protection and my home didn’t feel like one without a cat, I know that sounds silly but it’s just how I felt. So someone was looking for a home for this bundle of terror and I ended up with a black kitten a couple of weeks ago. She stalks me and the boys but has settled in so well. She’s called Susuwatari which totally outs me if anyone knows me in rl on here 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Keep going to browse the Cats Protection site. My boy would not thank me but we have room for more than one cat.....le sigh......probably won't but all the kitties are making me cat broody! 🤣🤣

I follow Cat Rescue U.K. on Facebook. My old lady cat would never accept another feline in the household, but it doesn’t stop me looking at all the lovely kitties and wanting to adopt all of them!

My girl, she is a clever, bossy, funny little madam who loves to be the centre of attention. Wouldn’t be without her.
