Revenge Sleep Procrastination

I didn't realise this was an actual thing until I saw this whilst idling scrolling Apple news 😆 but I'm glad I'm not alone. I can't link to the article but hopefully enough there to Google the term,

I sit up late in my own and look forward to it. In the morning, tired, I vow not to.

It doesn't help that I can't go to bed early anyway as my partner is always there before me snoring, fidgeting and farting.

If I don't do this when is my alone time?

Yeah me too. And I only just discovered it’s a thing.

I have a pitch tomorrow.

Let’s both go to bed.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 26/01/2023 01:22

That's me too & I hate it!

RiverSkater · 26/01/2023 01:28

I'm actually going to sleep now. 😴

I'd look a whole lot better tomorrow if I'd actually had two extra hours in bed. 😏

I have always done this. My whole life.

minipie · 26/01/2023 01:31

Oh shit! This is me! Ok I am actually going to bed now. Right NOW.

Fuuuuuuck. Better not stay up to read the article. I’m such a twat.

JaneJeffer · 26/01/2023 02:13

Uh oh

Ihaveamagicwand · 26/01/2023 02:15

Me too, I didn’t realise it was a thing! Bed now!! 💤
Will giving it a name make it easier to beat?

HellonHeels · 26/01/2023 02:25
