It's an American book, I got it from the famous bookshop in LA when I was 13 a few years ago. It has a mum and her teenage daughter with a dog living in a school bus the mum drives, but the mum gets raped and murdered and the girl talks to a priest (?) . I really want to read it again, does anyone recognise this at all?
