Campsite for teen?

Looking for a campsite for the summer, Europe. Have an only DS, 14. Any recommendations? I'd like a nice beach for me, but could walk, drive, cycle to it. August. No mossies if possible, or at least, not somewhere they are really bad.

In terms of great beaches, my favourite campsite has to be Criques de Porteils Campsite. It’s got amazing watersports if that’s something your DS is interested in.
Otherwise, I’d recommend Les Grands Pins or Sylvamar.
