Something on the wall and a rug!

I like it minimalist

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 25/01/2023 17:33

a collage of pictures on the wall- a mirror

Bowbellsx · 25/01/2023 17:34

Above the side board?

A massive colourful painting above the sideboard. Bigger the better.

peaceandpotato · 25/01/2023 17:36

Lose the white flowers get something more colourful there. Maybe fake ones or try some pampas grass a bit bolder

sidsgranny · 25/01/2023 17:37

Something on the wall. Something (plant?) on the cabinet where the candle is. A couple of colourful cushions?

Your sofa looks sooo comfy!

Timeforachangeisitnot · 25/01/2023 17:37

Mirror above sideboard, maybe some pictures - that are in some way linked , by subject, style , colours on the tv wall . Could be in a frame around the tv or off to the right side , as you look at it.
nice cosy looking rug and a little bit of colour on the sofas- maybe a throw to pick up colours of rug?
Sofa looks comfy 🙂

peaceandpotato · 25/01/2023 17:38

Massive colourful rug

Lobeli · 25/01/2023 17:39

Some colour somewhere, anywhere.

A big rug.

Get rid of that foot rest, it makes the room look cluttered and messy.

Some nice, squishy cushions in a nice color.

Some stuff on the walls. Maybe an oversized mirror above the side board.

Some accessories on the side board. Maybe a few photographs, an a plant of some kind. And a big lamp.

Some plants around the place more generally to give it a bit of life.

Some lamps. That big light in bright and harsh. A lamp or two to softly light the room would work wonders.

Helenahandkart · 25/01/2023 17:40

Some belongings would help. Books, pictures, rugs, cushions. In a colour that isn’t white or greige.

Bowbellsx · 25/01/2023 17:42

I’ve not long moved in that’s why my personal stuff isn’t out yet but good ideas

This living room looks cozy and stylish already. I absolutely love colorful interior accessories (there's something about vibrant colors that just brings a space to life) so I would go for some pictures, like: this one

Peacock Wall Art Decor 140x170 cm velvet hanging

An exclusive wall painting in the form of a velvet decoration of large size

LibertyLily · 15/04/2023 16:40

Huge rug, art, books and stuff you love/has meaning to you.

Floralnomad · 15/04/2023 16:48

Feature wall , rug , cushions . I’d also move the footstool as it makes it look like you are sitting really close to the TV .

Wisheverydaywasasaturday · 15/04/2023 16:50

It looks lovely! A nice pastel coloured rug and cushions will finish it off

HernamewasNOLA · 15/04/2023 16:51

A rug, some plants and a mirror/art on the walls. Your sofa looks so comfy.

HernamewasNOLA · 15/04/2023 16:52

Also maybe some family pictures/plants on the sideboard

GalileoHumpkins · 15/04/2023 17:25

Does the furniture have to stay where it is? It looks horribly cramped and you must be almost starring in everything that's on TV.
You need some colour to bring it to life.
