Can anyone recommend some good, non scary, TV series and perhaps podcasts too?

Am on bed rest due to a flare in my neurological condition. And very bored. I love reading but my eyes aren't up to it. Even typing/holding my phone is hard and I can only manage it in short bursts.

I don't like scary TV anyway but it's particularly important to not stress myself anymore as well.

So I would love some recommendations of gentle, uplifting series I could watch to fill the time. And also podcasts when my eyes are really bad.

(We have Netflix and Amazon prime)

Not sure if they're available on the services you have, some should be on freeview channels or the apps...

Not really a podcast, but Cabin Pressure? It's a radio sitcom, is wonderfully gentle and lovely and very funny. A few episodes available on bbc sounds at the mo, or the whole boiling lot on podcasts if you look up 'Cumberbin's treasure' or something like that (it's got Benedict cumberbatch in).
