Has anyone claimed maternity allowance recently?

If so- how long before you got your decision please, especially once you had the text message saying ‘thanks for your application’?

I posted it 28th Nov in the envelope they provide. Text was recieved on 22nd Dec, rang them yesterday as hadn’t heard. He said decision was made on 17th Jan and a letter is on its way. I got the back pay today.

i had the money in my bank before I received the letter. Think it only took 3 weekish! This was last year though
