Gifts for two year old nephew

Hi! I am looking for suggestions for gifts for a two year old nephew who lives in another country. I don’t really know much about what he likes but thought books, something that feels a bit British or something hard to get elsewhere may be good? What are some great gifts your two or three year old boys have received? I don’t have kids yet so really don’t know!

My nephew was very taken with our toy doctor’s kit recently so I sent him one for his 2nd birthday which he’s apparently very pleased with.

What’s your budget? Does it need to be sent from Amazon etc or will you post?

Bath toys
Costume such as chef, vet, magician etc (or knight for something a bit more British?!)
Play dough
Plastic kids watering can (the elephant ones from garden centres are always a hit)
Classic British books like The Jolly Postman, Eric Carle, Happy Families
Cool/modern kids books like I Want My Hat Back, Oliver Jeffers, Du Iz Tak, Press Here

Biggest hits when my son turned 2:
Magnetic tiles
Paint sticks
Books
Toy tool set
Wooden toy birthday cake

He's 3 now but still plays with these often.

Will be going in person next month so nothing tooo bulky. Budget around £150 total, I think, but probably for several smaller presents rather than one major one.

Some book suggestions:
Zog, Stick Man, anything by Julia Donaldson is very popular, Elmer, Car Car Truck Jeep, Duck in the Truck, Postman Bear (or any of the Acorn Wood series), Count With Maisy.

Magna tiles!

Other book suggestions could be Dogger, Funnybones or the Mog Books.

I also had a book of poems by AA Milne called When We Were Very Young / Now We Are Six and it must have made an impression as I kept it and now my daughter has it.

Magnet tiles! They still play with them
