There's a man standing in the street going in and out of gardens would you approach him?

I'm waiting for my son outside his tutors in outer London in my car. Someone has been walking slowly up the road and stopping. He was in front of my car for 10 minutes. Then a car went past and he went into my sons tutors front garden. He is just stood there. Tutors floodlight keeps going off but now I can't see him. I don't think he left her garden. It's freaking me out. He's probably vulnerable but at the same time I'm scared. Got to walk in the garden now to get my son.

I'd ring the tutor, maybe this is a regular occurrence.

Maybe he’s waiting to go into the tutors?

LizzieSiddal · 24/01/2023 17:58

As in, he’s the tutors next customer?

ThreeChildrenWithSEN · 24/01/2023 18:01

He has walked off into the garage. Slowly. I think he's old. I'm going to pretend to fill up and mention it

He's probably really cold. If you're going in to the garage ask him if he's ok as you've noticed him looking a bit lost. At least then you'll be somewhere well lit with other people around.

God I feel so guilty now but seeing some man in the pitch dark freaked me out when I lost sight of him. All fine. Thank god the garage knew him so he was being picked up when I left him. It didn't even occur to me it could have been the next customer, I think I have watching too much news today.

Don’t worry, it’s easily done. Glad they knew him in the garage.

On Facebook there was a screenshot doing the rounds where a woman reported a woman in a local group that was walking up and down the road and looked suspicious.

The woman herself replied saying she was looking for her cat!
