Bit of a random topic but i just have to get it of my chest.
I dont know why but i cant stand pinks new song never gonna dance again.
Every time i hear it on the radio i press mute .
I dont know why it irritates me .

La da Dee La da daah is Gypsy Woman, not Tom's Diner - that's duh duh duh duh, duh duh duh duh. Easy to mix your La da Dees with your duh duh duh duhs though.

And I used to like Lewis Capaldi but he's too shouty and again I heard a recent interview and he came across as not very nice. Cringing he is Scottish like me.

@ZingyCosmo Oh god, I'm glad it's not just me, I bloody HATE Dancing in the Moonlight with a passion. In fact, when we were planning our wedding and I was making a list for the DJ, my first and main request was for him NOT to play the bloody song under any circumstances. Mind you, it turns out I shouldn't have had a wedding at all... Totally agree about the Jamie Oliver thing, that's exactly what comes into my mind! I can't dive on the radio quick enough if it ever comes on.

There's a song called Down in Georgia that R2 keep playing at the moment. Not only do I hate it but I can't help wondering if the lyrics have another meaning.....

I'm so glad there are so many fellow song haters out there. We've recently started having the radio on at work, and it is slowly driving me insane. It's the same stuff over and over, but everyone seems to like it. What is wrong with them? Lewis bloody Capaldi five or six times a day, that Pink one Never Not Never Gunna Never Not whatever, the terrible Taylor Swift one. And everyone in the office sings along.

Agree with you @froomeonthebroom about that Down In Georgia thing that is constantly on Radio 2. Even my kids are repelled by it when their dad has it on in the house. The most insipid rubbish I've ever heard.

Also agree about Dancing Queen. I really like Abba, but hate that one. And Queen - I absolutely love them, but only their really old obscure stuff about fairies and Jesus - I cannot stand anything of theirs that is played on the radio, especially I Want To Break Free. Ugh.

My worst are -

Dance The Night Away - just bloody awful
You're Gorgeous - disgusting and makes me feel sick
I Don't Feel Like Dancing - annoying in every way
Dancing in the Moonlight - just bloody awful, especially the intro and the organ bit in the middle

There are so many more but I'd be here all day, raging.
