Has anyone cycled round Carsington water?

I have, it's very easy in my opinion. Pretty flat (though not entirely) and views of the water almost all the way round.

Excellent! I went to Rutland water recently and was really disappointed as it's not at all flat and barely saw the water!

Really easy. Bit boring though, can be busy near the visitor centre, and the dam, tends to be quiet on the other side.

Have you tried the high peak trail? A couple of big hills at the southern end but pretty flat at the top.

There's the manifold too

We walked round it a few years ago. If you go anti clockwise from the visitor centre, the first half is decent paths, the second have is bit more rugged terrain.

I am allergic to hills. Though now i have battery power it might be worth a go!
