Passport times?

Just wondering if anyone has any idea of how long it takes to get a UK passport at the moment? The official website says up to ten weeks but was wondering if people were finding it's less at the moment?

Just over 3 weeks for us & that was with providing extra evidence as well.

Look at passportwaitingtime.co.uk. It uses crowd sourced data to work out average times for different types of passport.

A replacement took less than 2 weeks from first application to arrival. This was a few days ago

I renewed mine a week or so ago and it was 8 days from submitting application to the new one arriving, couldn’t believe it.

Ordered ours (DH &me) on the 8th, DH's arrived on Thursday, mine will be delivered later today.

I sent my renewal application and DS's first passport on 7th Jan. Friend approved DS's photos online on 10th (mine didn't need approving) and had both passports back by 20th Jan.

Applied to renew Dd passport 2 weeks ago today. Just had text saying it is going to be delivered today so only 2 weeks which is pretty impressive.

Renewed mine last week and the entire process took 7 days.

Mine took 9 working days. Numerous emails to keep me updated. Excellent service.

I renewed ds last week. Took exactly seven days from posting it to getting the new one

Just done mine, renewed online, posted off my old passport the following day by signed for service. Received my new passport within 2 weeks.
Just waiting on my old passport to be returned now as it comes back separately.

I love been pretty Impressed by how speedy the service was and how informed I was at each step of the process by text by the passport office
