Can I please ask what you use to get the glue off your skin?
I’m currently using almond oil but it takes forever and I’m wondering whether I’m missing a trick.
Many thanks

Baby oil

Whatheactualchuff · 24/01/2023 13:46

Thanks for that, I guess I’ll stick with the oil then

Zoff wipes from Amazon do the trick perfectly.

SpanishOnion · 24/01/2023 13:48

Baby oil here too, but I've heard others extoll nail varnish remover.

Surgical Spirit. Gone with one wipe.

I am covered in little black squares! Just assumed it was something to just put up with! Plonker!

Baby oil, if you use plenty it comes off very easily.

My mum has a colostomy bag and gets SALTS adhesive spray remover to take the sticky stuff off from around her stoma. She loaned me a spray one day and it was excellent at removing my HRT patch glue, so I bought some. It's about £8 but lasts forever as its only one squirt twice a weeks when the patch gets changed.

So glad this thread has helped us both!

I find Clinique purple take the day off make up remover is the only thing that works for me. All it takes is a soak with a wipe and it all rubs off easily.

MadamLeota · 20/02/2023 13:13

The easiest way is to rub over the skin with the patch you've just taken off. Pulls off the excess glue.
Moisturise after.

YourSpleenIsDamp · 20/02/2023 14:01

Chapstick! Works brilliantly.

Needingacoffee · 20/02/2023 15:57

I use baby oil, or I just rub the patch over the sticky glue to remove it.
