Can I do anything for this sore throat

Had a really sore throat since yesterday morning. Hurts when I swallow and yawn but only on one side. Also have a burning sensation😩

Take some painkillers. Try either warm or cold drinks to see which helps. Look on the nhs website for advice too, it’ll tell you when you might need a gp
