Graduation event ideas

Hi wise MNers I could really use your help and ideas! I'm doing a part-time course due to graduate this summer. As Course Rep it'll be for me to arrange our Grad Do. We're a very small cohort of 18 people, ages range from 21-55. Some health issues so nothing too active. Can anyone suggest any ideas to celebrate! Mix of guys and girls.

I've not heard of a cohort 'graduation event' before, so am not sure if this is something for after the graduation ceremony you are talking about

• drinks reception type event with graduates and their guests

or

• going for a meal / party / night out as 18 people who have studied together as a sort of 'farewell' do
