Anyone got any influence with St Anthony?

I've lost a really sentimental ring. I'm completely certain that it's in the house somewhere, I don't wear it very often so it would be almost impossible for it to have fallen off out of the house.

I've turned everything upside down, emptied every pocket and bag and drawer and I just don't know where it is.

I am a churchgoer but way too presbyterian to be praying to saints on a regular basis so I'm worried St Anthony won't take me seriously if I only pray to him for self-centred reasons. But I'm hoping that since he's an actual verified saint he'll be a better person than me and might listen anyway.

What do you think? If anyone is in regular contact with St Anthony would you put in a good word for me? I'd so love to have the ring back.

I'll keep looking in real life all the same, maybe my house will be properly tidy for once, even if I don't find the ring.

Me. I am the biggest lapsed catholic ever but he always comes up trumps.
"St Anthony st Anthony
Return what is lost to me"
(Or @User4873628 in this instance)
Cheers

You need to entreat him:

'St Anthony please come around, something is lost and can't be found.'

We also knock three times after entreating him, on a wooden table, mantle piece or even door frame. As long as it is wood.

And then thank him when the item is found. Again, knocking three times once you have made thanks.

(other entreaties may be used) ^
