Friends ex girlfriend scammed me out of tickets ...what would you do?

So a year ago I was at work when some tickets for a gig went on sale.
My friends GF (who I've never met ) bought these tickets from ticketmaster and I transferred money to my friend who paid his GF.
A few months ago they had arrived and friend gave us the tickets.
Now since then they have split up (after my friend cheated on her with a few other women)

Anyway got to the gig last night and the tickets wouldn't scan -she had re sold them on ticket master.
It was a sold out Gig so we couldn't get in
I'm fuming like fuming
Why would she do this ?
What can I do now ?
What would you do ?

Did your friend definitely give her the money?
Do you have the girlfriends contact details?
If so I would text her and ask for a refund.

You may want to obtain old texts between you/friend and her regarding the tickets and payments so you have evidence.

I think your friend owes you the money. What they do about the money the ex had is their problem. There are consequences to cheating - they cheated so their loss....

Have you got evidence to take her to small claims?

Why? Because ExGF has thought 'fuck you cheating twat' and caused a problem for her Ex to sort.

I’d presume she sold them on because he did her dirty and probs didn’t even give her the money, the issue lies with your friend not the ex gf
