Any Flightradar fans around?

A mid-sized private jet just went steaming over my house making quite a racket, so I thought I'd look it up but there's nothing to see. What's going on there then?

It isn’t that unusual.

Do they have some sort of special pass then to not show up on radar?

Not all aircraft, especially helicopters, have the necessary transponder, or are military flights that get to choose whether or not to turn the fitted transponder on or off.

By the way, it doesn’t actually use radar.

It was a mid-size aeroplane not a helicopter
