Can I pull this eyelash out?

I've had an irritated eye this morning and I thought an eyelash had come loose. On closer inspection, I find I've got one eyelash set right back from all the others and it touches/bends towards the eyeball.

The skin is so delicate in that area but it feels like I've got constant grit in my eye

That was amazing! I was dreading it.. Came out with no pain. I don't have an ice pack so that was lucky.
