Awake for an hour or two every single night. Any tips?

Every night I wake up at around 2am and struggle to get back to sleep. I don’t pick up my phone etc, as I don’t want to make it worse, but it’s really frustrating. Eventually I do get back to sleep, but all day I’m pretty tired as a consequence.

Any tips? Maybe I eat too much sugar?! Anyone else been through the same and beat it?

Are you warm enough in bed ?

I know my sleep improved loads when DP and I got separate duvets. DP has a 3.5 tog and I have a 13 tog in the winter, going down to a 7 tog in the summer. I was waking up cold, but now I don't. Bed doesn't look as tidy during the day but small price to pay for better sleep

Perimenopause. HRT and sleep stories on the Calm app when I’m really desperate works for me.

It may be a sign that something with your liver and pankreas is starting to go wrong.
It was for me, but I did not pay attention.
