Its the only way i can find out if dh is playing the field or not.

Is it that the account is private and you want to have a nose? If so, do you not know anyone on his friend list?

Having said that, I don't know it's worth the hassle. If you don't trust him, getting a friend request accepted won't change anything.

I expect she's trying to get the woman she's suspicious of to add her as a friend, not her own husband...

No, you can't make anyone accept a friend request.
