I've been in hospital with my Mum since Wednesday. She's got a brain bleed from blood thinners that she had to take for her breast cancer. Her eyes haven't opened since the ambulance ride to the hospital on Wednesday evening. She's on palliative care as we speak, no pain relief just a infusion of medicine to keep her chest clear.

This pure torture waiting for her to be at rest.

You might find she chooses to go when she's alone so please don't feel guilty if she goes when you step out for a minute or two Flowers, quite a few people wait until they are alone.

It's just me at the moment. We've had an insane amount of visitors over this period, it's been quite overwhelming at times. My sibling has popped out for a breather, they will be a while yet I think. I'm just sat here quietly in the corner.

The staff here are absolutely incredible, so kind and compassionate. If I could increase their wages 10x over I would and more.
