I don't know what to do (TW - sexual assault).

Just that. I was seriously sexually assaulted last night. It was at my friend's house by a man I don't know. We were all talking and then my friend went to bed and this guy....it was just horrible. I won't put details here in case it's triggering for anyone.
I feel shellshocked. I don't know what to do. I've been crying all day. I've scrubbed myself in the shower. I can't get the feeling of him off my skin.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please know this was not your fault. I know how difficult it is to say the words and reach out to someone in person. Do you have a friend or someone you trust to speak to?

please contact Rape crisis for some support. I was in a similar position many years ago and I didn't tell anyone for years, it broke me mentally until I started speaking about it.

I am so sorry this has happened to you.Do you have anyone you can talk to in person as this is very hard to carry alone .
Do you feel up to making a statement to the police?

Google for the SARC in your area - they are hubs that will take forensics and also help with emergency contraception and support services. Attending a SARC doesn’t require you to report to the police but they will keep a record on file in case you want to report at a later stage.

cambridgerapecrisis.org.uk/recent/ This might not be your area but this is a really helpful summary of support and actions you could consider. I’m sorry it’s happened to you x

Thank you for the replies. He didn't rape me. He physically forced me to do other things. I kept saying no and he just carried on.

I'm a regular here btw. I've NC.

I do want to speak to the police but I just can't at the moment.

I have him on video admitting it.

I'm so sorry he did this to you

Please speak to the police as soon as you feel able , do you have someone who could support you to do that ?

Do you have a local SARC?

Sending you love and strength 💐
