Sending a gift card to the usa

Hi,

I have a friend recovering from surgery over in the states. I want to send her a food gift voucher, so she can have a few meals she doesn't have to cook. Something like grubhub/uber eats etc...

I figured it would be simple to send her an email one, but when I try on grubhub, the card I'm using needs to be linked to a usa address, which obviously it isn't.

Anyone know a way I can do this?
Cheers

Doesn't have to be those food apps, any other suggestions welcome.

Not quite the same but when my DSis studied abroad for a year and broke her leg I called up her favourite deli and they took £100 over the phone and that allowed her to have lunch delivered twice a week as she recovered. There was a currency fee at my end.

Thanks, I was hoping to surprise her, but if I can't work out how, I may ask her if she has a favourite place and see if that's an option. Happy to pay a currency fee if needed.
