What went down well with your 7 year old?

I have a soon to be 7 year old (boy if that's important)
I'm in need of inspiration for cheap gifts and maybe one or two min presents. But mainly sort of small things.
Could anyone suggest anything that went down well at Xmas that I can get? Tia

My son loves his Fitbit copy, it was £18 on Amazon. And some light up rave gloves 🤦‍♀️

Pokémon cards, led writing pads (Amazon)

Small die-cast vehicles go down well with mine - race cars/emergency services/army vehicles (the favourites)

Also a "paint your own dinosaurs kit" was played with more than I thought.

And lego - especially star wars or marvel character/vehicles.

Harry Potter dress up set (bargain from a charity shop, thinking ahead to world book day!)

Chess set

Waterstones voucher (he loves going in and choosing his own books)

Yo-yo

Top Trumps or Uno if you don't already have them
