HELP! Lost passport!

If you have ever lost one, presumably in the house somewhere, where did you find it?

Going away in 2 months, cannot find dd16 passport but have all the other family ones in the same drawer. Last went away in July as a family. Usually keep them all together when we go anywhere.

Think we may have taken it to register for a college place in August but presumably brought it home and put it back in drawer as it’s not in my or her bag, or loose anywhere on worktop etc.

Any help gratefully received or ideas!

Btw although I had to get my lost passport replaced which was a major pita and meant I lost a short trip abroad, when I then found the lost one I used it for many purposes (except international travel) for many years until it expired, thus leaving the new one safely stashed away. Because although it would probably flag up as being cancelled at the border,
folks like banks and solicitors weren’t remotely bothered.

Under the drivers seat of my car. After I’d gutted the filing cabinet where it usually lived. I took it as a hint from my (departed) bro that I didn’t need bank statements from 1990 any more 🤣

I didn’t know how to ask St Antony but I did ask silently and then started looking in all the suggested places!

Thanks to @NoInvitesEver , it was in an old coat that she’d worn to an outdoor Halloween attraction where she’d needed Id to prove her age!

Even better we found 450 euros in the bottom of the passport drawer obviously left over from a previous holiday so I am thanking St Antony for that too!!!
