Tell me about hairdryers

DD(11) would like a hairdryer. She has thick, straight, shoulder length hair, which takes ages to dry naturally (although it dries beautifully straight).

I've never owned a hairdryer - I've got very curly hair, which I am happy to be curly, and always looks better when it has dried naturally than when the hairdresser dries it.

DH and DS keep their hair so short that the just towel it.

Please point me at an every level hairdryer than an 11 year could use - or will I have to learn how to do her hair?

DD is (a very grown up and capable) 9, she got this for Christmas, she can pretty much use it independently and it seems to work well.
