So I'm currently stressing about needing a new car and I can’t afford to buy one outright but I also can’t get accepted for finance either. I am bad with money and have very old black marks on my credit file.
I run my own business which I need to be mobile for and we use the car most weekends as a family.
My current car is a 2007 renault clio which I’ve had for 5 years. Its been good to me and I would happily keep it as it runs fine but was advised last time I took it for an MOT that basically everything they fixed they only fixed in order for it to pass the MOT and that really it needed scrapping before the next one, OR i could spend £2k+ on an auto electrician (the car is worth less) my MOT is due in March so I basically need to sort a new car before then.
I am stressing. How do poor people with bad credit get cars!?
