Mystery of missing moisturiser please help!!

I always love a thread where the OP loses something or something disappears in the house. This happened today in my house and my head is wrecked. I cannot figure it out and would appreciate if someone else can help solving really weird mystery or at the very least make me laugh.

About two weeks ago, I splurged on the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream moisturiser which I’ve never used before. This morning when I went to use it and took it down the jar was completely empty. The jar was also clean like it was washed. No one else in my house has a clue and denies doing anything to it

Can anyone shed some light or am I doomed to have my head wrecked forever

ha ha @Shoogly Yeah I do but she swears blind she didn’t touch it and there is no way she could have used that much. And she’s not someone who would even think of cleaning the jar

Did you check it once it came? You can buy refill pots so wonder if you got sent an empty one by mistake!

They come with refills now. Was there definitely something in it when you bought it or is that the first time you opened it?

That hasn't been washed out, there's an inner plastic part which holds the actual moisturizer because you can buy refills for the jar. Either someone has taken your moisturizer and left you the jar, or it has fallen out somewhere.

Not with CT magic cream surely? It's quite smelly and very expensive

On a side note your window ledge is covered in black mould. You need to clean that because it's hazardous to your health.

Well some really good suggestions but teen read thread and said no way! I definitely didn’t realise it was an insert so had a good look around the floor (black matt tiles) and found my missing lisa eldridge lipstick but no bloody moisturiser. Thanks for the poster we do have mould in the house
