It's at the bottom of the steps near dd flat. There are the marks that can be seen then it stops.

It does look like it. Looks a bit like someone got into a drunken fight or had a slip on the stairs last night rather than a serious crime scene though..

If it's part of her building I'd give them a call so they can clear it up (though in reality whether they will is another matter)
