Loo freshener that actually smells nice

I'm looking for a loo freshener that smells nice and not like a public toilet. I've tried bloo lemon scent and it came across like industrial strength school toilets smell.

I don't like constantly putting chemicals into the water we flush but have cracked now the kids are teens and the family bathroom smells constantly of everyone's evacuations

Any recommendations?
