Chinese order

I'm home alone for once tonight, so decided on wine and a Chinese(rare treat). I need help choosing what to have for just myself.

My order is always mushroom chow mein, crispy seaweed and chicken balls with curry sauce instead of sweet and sour.

Duck in plum sauce, fried rice, spring rolls.

Special fried rice with sea weed. Hoi sin sauce. Prawn crackers used as spoons.

Yummy! We're getting a take away too tonight!
I love lemon or sweet type sauces personally hoisin, plum, S&S
Singapore noodles or chicken chow mein
Lots of 'bits!' Dim sum, dumplings etc

Salt & pepper chips
Vegetarian Singapore noodles
Spring rolls
Egg rice

Salt and pepper chicken
Mushroom egg foo yung
Sweet and sour chicken hong kong style
Egg fried rice
prawn crackers

Sweet and sour prawn balls to start, followed by quarter of aromatic crispy duck!

Battered chicken with lemon sauce
Prawn crackers
Egg fried rice
Prawn toasts

Special spring rolls.
Beef with cashew
Fried rice

Or

Mixed starter (prawn toast, ribs, crispy wanton)
Salt and pepper chicken
Thick noodles.

Or
Spring roll
King prawn fried rice
Mushrooms in oyster sauce

Chicken balls are essential with any Chinese in my book

Ooo! We had Chinese last night, we got crispy shredded salt and chilli chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken fried rice, mini veggie spring rolls, chicken satay skewers and some salt and pepper chips.

It was far too much for two but absolutely delicious and I'm already drooling and thinking of getting another 😂

My standard order is:

Hot and sour soup (perfect in this weather)

Steamed mini-dumplings

Spring roll

Aubergine, broccoli and cashews in black bean sauce, with plain rice.

Enjoy whatever you treat yourself with!

I’m having Chinese tonight too (me and the kids). We have sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, satay prawns, shredded beef with chilli, Chinese greens in garlic and noodles and been sprouts

I’m very boring…I’ve had the same Chinese takeaway order for nearly 30 years!!

Spicy seasoned battered prawns in the most amazing spicy sauce, special chow mein, chicken satay, crispy seaweed and prawn crackers.

Was just going to say this. All ours are closed for the weekend too.

This is what we usually order as a family- too much for one person but the dishes we like:
crispy duck pancakes or mixed hor-deuvres
sweet and sour king prawns hong kong style.
crispy shredded chili beef
lemon chicken
special chow mein/ singapore rice noodles
egg fried rice

If I was on my own I would probably go for 1/4 duck, prawns and rice with the leftovers for breakfast!

Love leftover takeaway for brekkie!

I like wonton soup and kung pao chicken. Or a battered prawn of some sort.
