Looking to book a sunny holiday in May. Been to The Algarve, Ibiza and Canaries before, but maybe fancying something different . Looking for warm but not roasting (maybe 25degs in the day), walking distance to a town and a beach, good variety of restaurants, some bars, and some nice walks. Just me and DP so kiddy stuff not relevant

Never been to Cyprus so would be good to hear others experiences, good or bad!

We've been to Paphos, Ayai Napa and Protaras and prefer Pahos out of the 3 places although in all honesty I'd happily holiday again in any of those places. I'd definitely say Paphos ticks all your boxes.

Very hot! We liked it. We stayed in Aphrodite Hills. Drive on the same side of the road which is an advantage!

Agree that Paphos ticks your boxes . Loads of lovely bars and restaurants. A nice walk down to the harbour . Some nice beachfront hotels . Where we stayed wasn't beachfront but only 5 minute walk to nearest beach .

I’d be tempted by somewhere in the village of Pissouri between Pafos and Limassol - quieter than Pafos but still a few bars / restaurants etc and walking distance to a large beach.

Pafos is nice but very busy. I didn’t like napa but then I’m not into clubbing and drinking. Found proratas a bit busy to be honest but I like the quiet life!!

We’ve been to Paphos 3 times and love it. Stayed in a Holiday Village AI but did a few trips and tours. Paphos itself is really interesting - World Heritage Site if I remember rightly. You can book boat trips from the harbour there. There’s a fun water park not far away which we enjoyed - 2 DCs who were about 4 and 7 that time.

I would certainly go back.

Paphos sounds amazing! Thanks everyone 🙂
