A question about train tickets please!

Can you buy train tickets for a different station? So for example can you go into Liverpool station and ask the kiosk worker for a return ticket from Birmingham to London for a few weeks time?! Thank you

yes, but it would be a lot easier to do online! Also make sure you know what type of ticket they're selling you and any limitations on travel e.g. peak / off peak times, advance tickets can only be used on the booked train etc.

It's not always a lot easier to buy online. Some people benefit from a ticket office.
