I NEED S HANDHOLD PLEASE 🌷
Recently found out we were expecting and we've also had a loss (miscarriage) in the past, and I've been in hospital with a family member who almost died today 💔 sepsis and lung cancer sucks. But after the day I had a wee and wiped and a small amount of dark brown blood appeared 🥺😭💔 has anyone else had this and had a healthy baba, I know what will be, will be, but im praying its not another loss 😭 just need a hand hold 💔

Big hugs. It could be Implantation bleeding, if very early on. Lots of women have it in early pregnancy

HappyHolidays22 · 20/01/2023 02:23

Oh OP sending lots of love and praying it is implantation bleeding for you! Implantation bleeding can be a brownish or pale pink colour if it’s very early in the pregnancy. Has the bleeding got worse or has it subsided?

Faith230 · 20/01/2023 02:25

Thanks for the reply, it was 1/2 a cm in size and very dark brown blood, I've had atkeast 6 or 7 wees after and no blood, just praying for the best :(

Praying for you too OP. Can you go and get a scan for peace of mind somewhere? It’s so hard because brown discharge can be a number of different things xxx

I'm going to call the midwife tomorrow and ask, just feel like its happening all over again 🥺 I just want to be a mommy and my body is failing me 💔

Oh OP, it’s not your fault - it’s just one of those things that you can’t control. I had a miscarriage too and then trouble getting pregnant … so I know how you feel but we got there in the end. Sadly I know quite a lot of people that had 3 or 4 miscarriages before they finally had a happy pregnancy and birth.

You will get there! Try not to stress or worry - I know that’s easier said than done but the minute I forced myself to be at peace with ‘what will be will be’ … it all happened. definitely call your midwife tomorrow. Sending a big hug xxx

Also… there is no saying this is a miscarriage! Praying it’s just implantation bleeding :) how far along are you?

Faith230 · 20/01/2023 02:49

Thank you for the comments, I am I think around 4 and a half weeks, so quite early x

I'm praying its just old blood from implantation but I don't know 💔

It could definitely be implantation at 4 weeks!!! Try not to worry! I’d be less optimistic if you were 7-8 weeks but 4 weeks is when you would expect to see implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed OP! ❤️❤️

OP, I had this with DD1. I was so, so worried. My midwife told me (repeatedly) that brown blood is old and isn't ordinarily something to worry about. I hope all is well for you Flowers

Thank you , I'm keeping an eye but still calling in the morning 🌄

I had this throughout the first trimester with DC2, (so not implantation bleeding) and all was fine. I rang the midwives and they told me to go to EPU to have bloods etc checked a couple of times (I think this depends on how far along you are).
