Help - company are disputing that they didn't receive a returned item

Bought a tracksuit for dd for Christmas, I ordered 4 items in total in different colours/sizes for her to choose.

They have a tight refund period of 14 days which I made sure I adhered to. I returned 3 items in 2 separate packages, one by Evri and one by DPD (Royal Mail were striking at the time so this seemed the best option).

They have refunded me for 2 items but are disputing that the third was returned. They want me to provide the weight of the parcels but I don't think Evri or DPD do this.

They have offered a credit note as goodwill which I don't want. Is there anything I can do?

Have you got the tracking number? Was it collected from your home or did you send it from a depot etc?

I dropped it at the parcel shop and got a receipt. Checked tracking, it says delivered. The other item from the same parcel has been refunded. They are disputing that there were 2 items in the same parcel.

Check your receipt to see if the weight of the parcel is on it. I would also email them back with the tracking and tell them that both items were in the parcel and ask them to do a check/audit of the return building that it arrived at. I had to do that with a Department store that started with D when they claimed the dresses I returned had not been received. They eventually found them.
