Does this diary/planner exist?

I'm looking for an A4 day per page diary but with a notes page per day , to write my daily to do list on. This is for work, to map my appointments on the dated day but a blank page for my diary to do list.
I cannot find one at all. Anyone got any idea?

Would a bullet journal approach work?

I use a B5 hardback dotted book. I buy myself
a beautiful one each Christmas. I like the ones with leather covers and a elastic or leather strap around them. Robust enough to carry around. I keep a pen clicked into the strap.

Once a quarter populate 3 pages with dates for upcoming months and the page opposite for notes. I also keep any project notes (holiday planning, school notes, house projects) in the same book. I do have Cozi as well ( digital family dairy) on my phone.

Try looking at TOAD diaries online - they are customisable for size, start date, page layout etc. I've often got new diaries from them with the diary page and then a blank notes page opposite as this is the only useful format for me too.

I just looked at this and it looked promising but the 2 pages a day version has a 3 month maximum

How about this:

Pukka Pad, Things To Do Today Pad 152x280mm amzn.eu/d/cORQcUq

Not A4 size in length but still a decent size

Thanks for the link - this is exactly what I have been looking for :)

I love threads like these with lots to look at and everyone getting good ideas

OP the pukka one might actually suit your needs after all.

I viewed it on the WHSmith website and you have 2 pages per day - one for appointments and one for "to do". It doesn't show that image on amazon.

(Plus it's cheaper from WHSmith)

Can't do a link - app not so good as it used to be. - but Sorena diaries look pretty good. Day per page with note space

Dontsparethehorses · 20/01/2023 05:49

I’ve not had a paper diary for yonks but I am tempted by @IloveJudgeJudy sorena suggestion although it’s a5 not a4

Hi OP I posted this earlier but just checking you'd seen it. I'm not sure what doesn't meet your needs with it so just re-sharing given you're still looking!

I need what you need OP.

Last year I had an A4 diary from work with a page per day. It was good but I needed a seperate ideas and to do list.

This year I have tried to bullet journal it, I even bought stencils and naice pens. It's not working, even when I make the spread how I want it I then don't use it! It's annoying!

It's hard to get a good working system isn't it?

I think the heaviness might put me off but I might have to suck it up. A bullet journal doesn't work for me as I have to work far ahead of myself - further than I would have time to set up- I also have a range of things to plan and consider from the small day to day jobs to large future projects plans and events

Different strokes for different folks, but this (small day to day jobs to large future projects plans and events) is exactly why I love the bullet journal system!

The ‘future log’ takes care of most things, then you just transfer info month by month (or week by week) as you get to it. I’d use an electronic diary (Google) for appointments.

Yeah I just can't make it work for me as I hate having multiple things like calendar, Google appt, work documents. I like everything in one big bible like book

I've really tried to make the bullet journal work but it just doesn't.

It should work but just doesn't. It's the date thing for me as well.

Jellycatspyjamas · 20/01/2023 13:41

I am a big fan on the Ella iconic planners. You can download a digital version too which I find really helpful.

@HannahBee123 thanks for this, I’ve just ordered one - it looks perfect for my needs now, my current diary isn’t really working.

is this for a whole year though? I thought when I looked at it- with this format the maximum is 3 months

OP posts:
PeonyRose80 · 20/01/2023 14:00

@crochetmonkey74 I believe it was 12 months only certain covers allow for this though (which is odd)

IloveJudgeJudy · 20/01/2023 19:48

Toad run for 12 months with 2 pages/day.
