Someone in our house has come down with it. We were all mixing in close quarters before her symptoms started then she's been in her room but we all share bathroom.
She started anitbiotocs today at 5pm.

When we each had covid non of us got it from each others...

not very, i never got anyone else sick whenever i had issues with it. (had my tonsils out i got sick so often)

I think its one of those things that as long as they're washing their hands and not coughing on anyone, it'll be fine.

Bacterial tonsilitis is harder to spread than the viral one from what i recall.

My husband gets it multiple times a year. Never caught it off him. Dd aged 2 had it before Xmas, never caught it.
And obviously I cuddled her and she coughed In my face all the time.

My daughter was really poorly with it in the summer. She's was actually admitted to hospital as she got quinsy but no-one else caught it from her. I took no precautions either because I didn't even know it was infectious. I even finished off her drink because she didn't want it.

It appears to depend on the person. Some could probably kiss someone with tonsillitis and be fine whilst others are more susceptible to it. I only have to be in the same room as someone with it to catch it and end up dead for days!

How old is she?
Keeping her in her bedroom is abit mean
Shes not contagious after 12- 24 hours anyway

HaroldeVwilliam · 18/01/2023 19:56

@PleaseCleanTheWholeToilet

She's unwell and sleeping I'm not keeping her in her room!!
