Talk to me about coffee machines.

I recently bought a DeLonghi Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine and it's shit.
I only really drink caramel or vanilla lattes and you get these pods and have to fiddle around changing them and trying to get the mix correct.
The pod is now stuck in the machine and I'm sending it back.

Can anyone recommend a decent one? I just want to be able to buy a pod and put it in.

I think you can buy machines that take two pods but they are expensive. How have you managed to get a pod stuck, I have had my dolce gusto machine for about 4 years and have never had that happen!
