This is not a bash Kate thread, who I am indifferent about. The daily Mail has run a piece about Kate visiting a nursery, mentioning that her jumper cost over £1000 and indeed her whole outfit was over £2,000. Whilst what she spends on clothes is her business I think the DM calling her ‘thrifty’ for wearing the outfit more than once suggests that she has too much money. I would not wear an expensive outfit to a child’s nursery, let alone one like that, not that I could afford it! She might get paint down it and she was playing with sand!

I do realise the daily fail is the lowest paper of them all, but the pictures caught my eye. Btw I look at all the newspapers, not just that one before I am ridiculed for being a DM reader.

All her clothes are expensive so it doesn’t much matter which set she wears. Someone else will be washing it for her anyhow.

Of course she has too much money, but thrifty means being careful with money, so she’s not splashing it about wearing a new piece of clothing every time she leaves the house.
