I'm fooked. I've got no idea. Literally zero. I've sorted something out from the kids.

Once upon a time he was sporty but with two round DC we never have time for anything. Actually we're fortunate that we don't want for stuff. We crave time, but I don't have a way to magic that up.

But he needs something to open!!

(Needed for Monday!)

Can you find a babysitter, book a table at a restaurant and take him out for a meal. Wrap up some massage oil for when you get home!

Some photos of the DC - frame them and he can keep them on his desk

You have two round children?

Can you get them watched and go on a weekend away, just the two of you? Open the print offs for booking?

Lochroy · 17/01/2023 15:50

Yep! Two round children! Or young Grin

Weekend away

ThoseDamnCrows · 17/01/2023 15:50

Something from Buy A Gift, rally driving or indoor sky diving?

Lochroy · 17/01/2023 15:51

We are trying to sort out a weekend away for later in the year (hard to get someone to look after the kids). Perhaps I just pay for the hotel rather than it being a joint thing.

Feels a bit of a cop out, but it will save him money!!

What about a subscription box, depending on his interests? Some ideas here www.gq-magazine.co.uk/gallery/subscription-boxes-gift-guide

LordSugarTits · 17/01/2023 16:06

Cheese subscription
Magazine
Trainers
Plant
Cookbook
Wine

Lochroy · 17/01/2023 16:13

Ooh like the idea of a subscription to something consumable

Dh got a milk Frother for Christmas (we don’t have a coffee machine) and hopes to be quite chuffed with it. It’s only a cheap version but is neat in size and has a few options. In Australia so won’t post a link.

MintJulia · 17/01/2023 16:32

Clay shooting lesson, or a city break (book online), new tech of some kind - VR maybe.

Is there a budget?

SnackyOnassis · 17/01/2023 16:51

My husband is similar in that he used to be sporty, still loves to watch/consume it but isn't as active anymore and he usually gets a gift subscription to The Athletic from someone - really good sports journalism.

That, combined with a mail order Bacon Naan Roll and Bloody Mary kit from Dishoom for his birthday breakfast and I think you'd have a happy husband!

Duckingella · 17/01/2023 20:28

Thislycross cider do some nice gift boxes;I got one for a family member for Christmas and they were chuff with it:delivery was really quick too

Rainraingoaway21 · 17/01/2023 20:41

Theatre tickets?

An experience of some sort?
Item of clothing from decent brand he might not buy himself?
Does he read?
I got my DH a beer dispenser/tap with a beer keg, great when we have bbq's or get togethers.

Hopeful16 · 17/01/2023 21:22

I was bought my OH a steak subscription. He was sent 2 steaks for the first weekend of each month for 6 months. So we had 'date night' those Saturday nights as we were confined to barracks due to 'round' children too.

MuddlingThrough1724 · 17/01/2023 21:23

Cookery class/bbq day course at local cookery school? Theatre tickets and a babysitter booked? Nice meal kit/bacon sandwich kit etc from somewhere he would like?

CrimsonPostBox · 17/01/2023 21:23

Tickets to a fun event he's enjoy - like a concert, or Comic Con, or a match, or a theatre show...

mycatsanutter · 17/01/2023 21:27

Tickets to a concert followed by night in hotel, make up a romantic poem about it and write it in a nice card .

Tamarindtree · 17/01/2023 21:27

So you have a spare room or garage that you could buy home gym equipment for? Weights?

AnneButNotHathaway · 19/01/2023 12:49

A big box of his favorite snacks
Calendar with family photos
Happy Birthday photo collage in a frame
A subscription to boxes of snacks from around the world, something like www.snackcrate.com/ or www.universalyums.com/
Subscription to software he might find useful, like iMovie for Windows or programs like Photoshop.
