Has anyone else started having missing Evri parcels magically appear?

Along with what seemed like half the population I was having major issues with Evri before Christmas to the point I stopped ordering anything to be delivered at the end of November. Missing parcels included 3 from Next, 2 from ASOS and a few others. After a lot of time spent on Twitter/online chats I managed to get them all refunded.

So you can imagine my surprise when I get a notification that Evri would be delivering 'my next order' yesterday. It arrived and it's the first of the 3 missing Next parcels parcels. I've just gone to let the dog out and there's now an ASOS parcel sat at the door!

I'm now wondering what else I can look forward to being delivered this week! Although it's annoying as most of it isn't needed anymore so I'm going to have to arrange the returns.

They must be finally getting through the backlog at the local depot, has anyone else had some random deliveries arriving?

No but a long awaited UPS parcel just turned up after 3 weeks of waiting (it was a 24hr delivery originally). It turned up just as id started a claim against them. Funny that.....

I heard that there's been a few break ins at depots and lots of Evri parcels have been stolen. I am ever hopeful my wellies will turn up though.

I was refunded for it last week. I imagine it is going to be a nightmare to sort out the return.

Yep I don't mind the Next ones arriving as I'll just nip to the shop (luckily our local Next is next to Tesco so I won't need to go out of my way) but I think the ASOS ones will be a nightmare. It took me weeks and weeks to get the refund sorted, and I can imagine it will be the same sorting the return!

Last year about a month or two of just all parcels from evri going missing, "destroyed" or just the store (pets at home and mtn warehouse in this case) couldn't get hold of evri to ask 🤷‍♀️
They all turned up weeks later, long after I'd got replacements/refunds all in perfect condition, nothing destroyed, most of the companies told me donate or keep the stuff, one arranged a pick up and evri didn't turn up 3 times in a row and after that they gave up and told me to keep/donate.
Evri are fucking hopeless.

No but that would be amazing. They lost a sale purchase that went out of stock in the week it sat there "at the depot" unmoving with them refusing to investigate until it remained unmoved for 7 days

I hate them. So fucking incompetent. I don't buy from companies that use them now and I tell them why

Not Evri, but my student DS messaged yesterday to say that his Advent calendar, sent by Royal Mail, had arrived! Not quite sure where it's been for the nearly 2 months since I posted it, but at least it's arrived with no obvious damage or anything.

There's huge back logs in the warehouses of parcels so it'll be where orders have dipped off a bit so they're able to crack on with that.
They are over run due to RM strikes.

I have a mysterious Yodel parcel coming todayamd I have absolutely zero idea what it is. Hadn't occurred to me it might be something I ordered ages ago and forgot about!

Have sold stuff on ebay and posted yesterday tracked using Evri so fingers crossed it'll arrive. Have got compensation etc selected. Something I bought for £7.99 which was despatched 28 Nov turned up last week perfect. Had already been refunded but the ebay listing still isn't showing as delivered. Is a big eBay shop not an individual otherwise I would tell them.

Yes I was really confused at first, I had ordered from Next on Sunday but to collect from store (which is all I will do now thanks to Evri!) so assumed there must have been a mistake somewhere and it was being delivered instead, I was very surprised when I opened it to find stuff from November.

We had an amazing Evri courier, he retired and it's totally gone to shit in my area. The community page on Facebook is full of issues and complaints. Everyone are stopping ordering from retailers who use them, probably the only way they learn.

Yes I ordered two bar stools and Evri just said that they never received the parcel.
When I range the company which I ordered them from, they said that Evri come to their warehouse and actually pick up the items.
Evri refused to take any responsibility and they had to send out new bar stools.
I'm convinced that they took them as probably saw it as a chance to sell them on as they were quite expensive!

We had this happen a few years ago - ended up with 3 identical canvases of a photo from our wedding 😅

Tbf our Evri courier is amazing. But, as stuff was still stuck in the depot, it couldn’t be delivered.

Mine is from early Jan. Has been refunded but I've just had an email to say it's with my local courier..... we'll see if it turns up. Its actually birthday gifts but unless it arrives in next few days it's no real use and I'll have to send it back.
