Food compatibility

Are you and your partner food compatible? Sort of based on a thread. We are mostly and usually one of us cooks and we eat together. But sometimes I hanker after mussels, clam chowder, a creamy pasta sauce, a quick tomato pasta or a goats cheese salad. None of which dh particularly likes. Do you cook separately often…?

DH eats what I cook... there's not much he doesn't like - sweetcorn and coconut milk spring to mind so I don't use them in any of our family meals... if I wanted, say, tuna and sweetcorn I would make it just for me and prepare something else for him. In our house I only cook one meal a day - the family prepare their own food for the other meals. I really enjoy cooking and am happy to take ownership of that particular chore.

Mostly. I like fish and he doesn't so I sometimes cook that and ge has something different or I cook that when he's away. I nearly always order fish when we are out.
