Have you had professional coaching?

If you've had professional coaching, how long did a session last? I assumed sessions would be an hour but I'm surprised to find out they're only for 30mins which means I feel really rushed. 😬

Personally, I've never received or given less than 1 hour. Was it through NHS or private?

I have been coached and I am a coach. Sessions last 60 minutes.

Session length depends on what is agreed at contract stage so not necessarily always an hour. If coach and coachee only have shorter periods available they might agree to have more but shorter sessions, but an hour tends to work well.

I’m a Coach and have also received Coaching as a Client.

In my experience, the initial conversation to agree how things will proceed (after a Coach and Client have agreed to work together) would cover the length of the sessions.

It’s typical for sessions to be an hour duration. On occasion I’ve extended the duration to 75 or 90 minutes.
